PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
Topic: OUR SOURCE
Text : Psalms 100: 1-5
Psalms 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Psalms 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Most times we think our income is determined by the kind of job we do, or kind of business we do. From our passage we discovered some important points, right understanding of our source of supply brings regular supply, if you don’t know the main source of supply, you might soon run out of supply.
Verse 3 says ‘Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture ‘. First of all, God made us, no one has power to make himself, we are liken to sheep of His pasture, pasture is a place where sheep gets food, it means God has prepared place for us His sheep. There is prepared pasture for all His children. It then means that the reason why we are not stranded is because God made preparation for us.
The reason why our businesses prosper is because there is spiritual preparation for prosperity, our businesses and jobs will amount to nothing if God is not involved. We can’t be productive without Him.
Verse 4:Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: and bless his name.We are expected to enter His gate with Thanksgiving, and praise now that we understand that He is our source, His duty is to make supplies for us while ours is to praise Him, He has never failed in making provisions we shouldn’t fail in praises and thanksgiving. God bless you. Do have a praise week.
* Lord help not be found wanting in praise.
