PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
Topic : PRODUCTIVITY
Text : John 15:1-15
St. John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
St. John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
St. John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Everyone desires to be productive and fruitful. No one labour without expecting reward of labour, life becomes frustrating when there is no reward for labour. Everyone leaves his or her home with the hope of bringing something tangible home, but in actual fact, how many people are really fruitful?
How sorrowful it is to work and have nothing to show for it? From scriptural context it is not God’s plan for any of His children to be fruitless, God is committed to blessing our handy works, but this does not come without commitment from our side.
From our text; abiding in Christ guarantees our fruitfulness, picturing Jesus as A vine, God as the vine dresser, and you as one of the branches of the vine, the branch gets nutrients from the vine, once the branch is off the vine, it losses ability to bear fruit. God is our source, we are connected to Him through Christ, as you remain in Christ you cannot be fruitless.
God is set to prosper our endeavors, He showers on us grace to prosper, our hands are blessed and every thing we touch is blessed. Serving God in righteousness and holiness is securing your prosperity. No power in hell can’t stop you from being fruitful. God bless you real God.
* Lord help me to abide in you.
