Prevailing Voice Daily 31st October

31 October
Text. : Genesis 3:1-19

Genesis 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Tilling is cultivating of the land in order to raise crops ( fruit ) while toiling is doing arduous or unpleasant work. Man was meant to till the ground, but since his fell in Eden, the curse of toiling came upon him. Toiling was introduced into his life as the consequence of sin, man has to go through stress to make an ends meet.

God willing to break the cure on man, raise Jesus to redeem us from the curse on our first father, Adam, of which everyman born of man is a partaker. Christ was made to die as a cursed man that God’s blessings might come upon us. Look at this: Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Every man who has accepted Christ as saviour is redeemed from that curse; curse of hardship, poverty, suffering, toiling, hard labor. God through Christ brought blessings upon us.

* If you have not being saved by Christ Jesus you are not free from that curse yet. Accept Christ today.
* If are born again and you experience such curse, stand your ground and break the curse in the name of Jesus.

Psalms 110,111
