Topic: THE END OF A THING
Text: Ecclesiastes 7:8 KJV
8- Better is the end of a thing than the
beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit
is better than the proud in spirit.
The end of a thing means the conclusion,
the final outcome, the close of a process
e.t.c
Many places in the scriptures talks about
the end of a thing and they all point to the
fact that as important as the beginning is,
the end is much more important. For
example Job 8:7 says “Though thy
beginning was small, yet thy latter end
should greatly increase.” Also Matthew
24:13 says “But he that shall endure unto
the end, the same shall be saved.”
Beloved, these scripture above shows that
God is interested in your final destination in
all areas of your life especially your
salvation, that’s why Jesus warns in Luke
9:62 that “No man, having put his hand to
the plough, and looking back, is fit for the
kingdom of God”.
Apostle Paul also admonishes in Phillipians
2:12 that you should work out your own
salvation with fear and trembling.
Dear reader, it is not only God that is
interested in the end of your pilgrim
journey, the devil himself is interested
because he does not want you to end with
God but rather with him in eternal
damnation. I pray for you that by the grace
of the Almighty God, devil will not harvest
your soul for hell in Jesus Name
PRAYER
* Father, give me grace to finish well and
finish strong in Jesus Name
* Father, I will not back slide and I will not
draw back unto perdition in Jesus Name
